Zaylie Pasillas

Zaylie Pasillas was born on 2001 in Van Nuys, CA and moved to Bakersfield, CA in 2006.   At age 7, she began taking piano lessons at California Keyboards.   While in 5th grade at Old River Elementary School, Zaylie began to take an interest in the violin.   Zaylie is currently a Junior at Stockdale High School and continues to play the violin for the High School’s Symphonic Orchestra.   She also performs with The Valley Baptist Orchestra Worship team on Sunday Mornings.  Zaylie has also performed at weddings and birthday parties.  Not only does she have a love for music but she enjoys volunteering.  She has done volunteer work with non-profit organizations who provide support and services for individuals who are developmentally disabled.  Zaylie also enjoys being active and is on the girls Varsity Track team at Stockdale High School, her focused event is the high jump.
